Pastor. Finny Mathews has been serving the Lord for last 17 years.  For 10 years he was the pastor of Alpha Bible Church in Baroda.  He was also involved in training national pastors and planting in an area in North India  where there has been intense persecution against Christians from fundamental Hindus.  Pastor Finny came to U.S in 1996 and finished his Master of Divinity degree at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, NC in Dec 2000.  He is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Divinity program at Liberty University.  Finny was the pastor of Gravel Hill Church in Virginia for 4 years and preached numerous revivals and mission conferences across U.S.

 

On Oct 11, 2003, Pastor Finny was elected as the President of Alpha International Ministries.  In June 2004, Finny and his family is planning to move to India for 2 years.  He is planning this time to develop a Bible curriculum for national pastors and leaders in Asia.  In addition, he will oversee the construction of a training center in North India that can accommodate 500 pastors and an auditorium seating capacity of 1000.  Please pray for Pastor. Finny and his family as their ministry in India is based in a state that is very hostile towards Christianity.
